Raising the roof (and money)
Well, I don't know about the other 200-odd people at the Stone Shuffle Jones gig, but I'm still humming along to the tunes they performed! 
The two-hour gig at The Plume School in Maldon was packed full of classic and mordern hits, including tunes from the Killers and Kings of Leon, plus The Who and The Clash.
It was great to see everyone up dancing and singing at the event, organised to raise money to help pay for fire-proof unifroms for the firefighters in Berkovitsa.
The pictures you see here were taken by one of the charity's youngest supporters, Ted, who is just 11-years-old. Unfortunately Ted suffers with ME and has been off school for the past eight months, but he absolutely loves taking pictues. So, his mum Sharon got him a camera he could use to really show off his talents - and here are some of the results.Thanks to everyone who came along to the gig and get your 2011 diaries out now, because we can announce the band will be back again next year!
Stone Shuffle Jones will be hosting another show-stopping night of music, to again raise funds for Berkovitsa's firefighters, on Saturday, September 17th, 2011. We hope to see you all there, and thanks again for all your fantastic support.
